Nemacolin Country Club 3100 National Pike Beallsville, PA 15313

Packets and Tickets will be sold in the High School lobby on the following dates:
June 30th and July 1st
July 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th
From 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Cost is $120.00 for a couple and $60.00 for single
July 9th is the LAST day to purchase tickets!
Grand March will not be held this year.

Physicals for ALL SPORTS will be conducted on July 8, 2020 and July 28, 2020 from 8:30 - 1:30 in the Middle School Nurse's Office.  There will NOT be any other dates scheduled throughout the year.  If you choose NOT to have your physical done on one of these days, you will need to have it done on your own.  Everyone coming in for a physical will be required to wear a face mask and have their temperature taken prior to entering the building.  Physical forms may be printed from the school website or picked up in the middle or high school offices.  Please have forms filled out completely prior to physical. 








We MUST follow all CDC recommendations with all the upcoming graduation activities.


Friday, May 15, 2020:
Here is an updated schedule for the remainder of the school year:
All new Google lessons and content will end on Friday May 22nd.  The week of May 25th - 29th will be enrichment activities as well as providing additional time for students to complete missing assignments.  We hope this extra time helps our students wrap up the year and reduces some concerns.   
The last packet pickup will be May 21st and all packet work must be returned on May 28th.   

Thursday, May 14, 2020: 
Beginning as early as next week, eligible families that have already qualify for free/reduced lunch program may be entitled to electronic funds from the federal government.  If you have not applied for free/reduced lunch, please email waltersj@bcasd.net to make arrangements for the application.  Please review the attached FAQ flyer from the PA Department of Education.

Friday, May 1, 2020:
We are pleased to announce that our Board of Directors suspended all grading policies and graduation requirements for the 19/20 school year.  Because of this, the administration had drafted the grading policy for the fourth nine weeks grading period (link below).  Hopefully this helps reduce the anxiety and stress of distance learning.  Please reach out to the building principals or counselors if you need assistance or have any questions. 


Friday, May 1, 2020:
On Friday, May 8, 2020 we will be distributing student personal belongings that were left in either the classroom or student locker.  Belongings have been bagged and labeled.  The schedule will be by last name. 

A-D 8:00-9:30  E-K 9:30-11:00  L-Q 11:00-12:30  R-Z 12:30-2:00

We ask families to pull up to the front of each building.  The belongings will be brought out.  If a child left something in one of the gym locker rooms a separate time and day will be set up for those items since it will require taking students into the building one at a time.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation. 


Friday, April 17, 2020:
The Administration would like to share great news.  The High School principal & guidance counselor are working out details for a full commencement ceremony to honor our graduates of 2020.  With restrictions still in place, commencement will be held June 3, 2020 at Brownsville Drive-In.  It will be later in the evening than usual and will involve live and recorded video for display on the big screen, with audio streaming through the system's radio frequency into cars.  All details will be shared as soon as they are finalized.  We want to thank teachers, parents, and students for continuing to excel!

Sunday, April 5, 2020:
Planned instruction resumes tomorrow.  Students with internet access must log into all of their Google Classrooms each day at any time, but teachers can only be reached during their regular scheduled class time.  Attendance the first week will be used daily to identify the number of students that will need packets.  It's very important for students to log into their classrooms daily.  Those without access must call / email the teacher for a copy of packets to complete.  We will be reaching out to families midweek for students that have not logged in.  Details for packet pickup and completed packet drop off details will be sent midweek.  

Friday, April 3, 2020:
Please review the attached letter that outlines our planned instruction for distance learning effective Monday.   Have a safe and healthy weekend.  High school students should email their teachers if they do not have access to Google Classroom or request an equivalent packet. 

Wednesday, April 1, 2020:
Tomorrow will be Flexible Instructional Day #2.  Students should complete activity #2 in the FID packet provided by the teachers. Please use your computer or toll free number / PIN to contact your teacher during the assigned times if you need assistance with your work.  
Beginning tomorrow all children residing in the district between the ages 2 to 18 are eligible for free meals.  Pickups are on Mondays and Thursdays form 11 to noon at the following locations:
East Bethlehem Fire Hall
Richeyville Fire Hall
Denbo Fire Hall
Marianna Fire Hall
Beth-Center ES

Monday, March 30, 2020:
Reminder students will be completing their FID packets for Days 1-3 beginning Wednesday.  A message will go out Friday with directions for next week.  Teachers are currently creating packets and Google Classroom for planned instruction to begin next week.  Please complete the link for the Technology Survey as we are planning how many paper copies of content to deliver.  Paper copies of the survey have been delivered to the food pickup locations for distribution on Thursday.   Please see attached FAPE letter for all families of the district 

Saturday, March 28, 2020:
We are happy to attach a letter from Atlantic Broadband offering two months of free internet and equipment to support qualified families during the closure.  This is intended to help students get access to distance learning.  Our Technology Director is also currently working on preparing all district laptop computers and devices for delivery to families in need. On Monday, a link to a technology survey will be sent to everyone through Remind.  Additionally, paper copies will be available at lunch pickup locations throughout the district.  Please see the offer.  Atlantic Broadband Internet Offer

Thursday, March 26, 2020:
Please take a look at the attached letter from our Superintendent that contains updates and the plan for utilizing Flexible Instructional Days (Phase 1) next week.  The "Continuity of Education Plan"  is being finalized to cover the education of our students beyond April 3rd. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this crisis.  


Please be advised that the Bethlehem-Center School District will be closing school effective after today Friday, March 13, 2020.  We plan a two week closure while we monitor developments of the health crisis.  Please check our website for updated details.  Flexible Instructional Days will not be used until they are announced on TV channels sometime AFTER the first week.  We will also use Remind App to communicate regularly.  Thank you for your patience as developments are rapidly changing.  Stay safe and healthy!


All after school athletics and extra-curricular activities have been suspended.  There will be no use of facilities outside of regular educational purposes.
